Our Nursery Provision can offer the following:

-       FEET funded provision for 2 year olds

-       Fee paying provision for 2 year olds at £18 per 3 hour session

-       15 hours universal entitlement for 3 year olds

-       30 hours extended entitlement for 3 year olds

Admission into Nursery for 2019/2020

Applications for entry into our Nursery for September 2019 has now closed, successful applications will be notified prior to Friday 15th February 2019.

However you can still apply by completing the Nursery Application Form and returning to the school office, successful applications will be notified after 30th April 2019.

NB: Admission to the school nursery does not guarantee admission to Danetree Primary School Reception Year.

Nursery Opening times for 2018/2019

Nursery sessions are as follows:

5 full days - Monday to Friday 9:00am-3:00pm

2.5 days - Monday and Tuesday 9:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday morning 9:00am-12:00pm

2.5 days - Wednesday afternoon 12:30pm-3:30pm, Thursday and Friday 9:00am-3:00pm

AM (for 2 year olds only) - Monday to Friday 9:00am-12:00pm


Funded Early Education for 2 year olds (FEET)

If your child is 2 years old, you may be eligible for FEET funding.

Nursery Fees for 2018/2019

We can accept children from the term after their 2nd birthday. 2 year olds can apply for any of the session patterns as shown above and fees are £18 for a 3 hour session which is £90 for a 15 hour week or £180 for a 30 hour week. Fees are payable each half term in advance.


15 hours free entitlement for 3 year olds

All children are entitled to 15 hours per week funded nursery provision from the first term after the child’s 3rd birthday and we can offer 3/4 year old places from this time, subject to availability. 


30 hours funding for 3 year olds

If you work and your child is three or four years old, you may now be eligible for 30 hours of funded childcare a week.
