Year 4 Residential March 2022

Wednesday 30th March

What an exciting start to Year 4's PGL trip! This morning we were greeted by 85 smiley, excited and confident children who came into the hall and settled with such maturity. After a fun filled coach journey, with lots of chanting as we approached the entrance to Marchants Hill, we were met by our PGL leaders, Ben and Tom and dropped off our luggage. Then, they gave us a lovely tour of the site, where we were eagerly checking out all of the activity spots with great enthusiasm.
At 12:30 we had a spot of lunch, which filled up lots of hungry tums and then got some free time to play and get to know everyone a bit better. In the early afternoon, we then set off to complete our first two activities which included the giant swing, Jacob’s ladder and raft building before having some downtime in our cosy cabins in the lead up to dinner.
For dinner, we had a choice of meatball pasta, fish fingers and cottage pie. It was absolutely delicious! After dinner, we walked into the woods to have a sing song around a nice, toasty fire. Now we are heading back to the cabins to chill out and begin to get ready for bed - we are so ready for another fun filled day tomorrow!
Night night! Speak to you tomorrow.
