GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

  • May 17, 2024 Breaking News! Year 1 opened their extrordinary museums this afternoon for all of the Year 1 children to see. On display we had some realistic clay animal models that were 3D!  They loved getting to read each other's fact files to find out more animal facts too.

  • May 15, 2024 Check out year 3’s AMAZING trip to Hampton Court Palace today. We explored the magic garden, found our way out of the maze, delved deep into the Tudor kitchens and even saw the beautiful palace Henry built for his wives - complete with his actual crown!
  • May 15, 2024 Bumblebees had great fun going on a minibeast hunt around the grounds of the school. We looked on the bark of the trees, in muddy holes, in the grass and along the fences. They found lots to tick off their lists, including ants, beetles and spiders.
  • May 15, 2024 4 Lowry developed their teamwork skills in PE today by playing different team games. They practised throwing to a target, scoring points and were great team players!
